Begging for Threads

Using denim as our canvas we tackled one of fall's biggest trends, embroidery.  You can use any piece you want to personalize from a denim jacket to a tote bag.  You can express your passions with your designs, we chose a mermaid tail (for Mermaid Waves, our sister blog), a heart, Dani's name and our favorite emoji.  

You'll Need:

Embroidery Thread (choose your colors).

Needle.

Chalk.

Item you want to personalize.

Outline your desired shape in chalk, then trace the outline with your needle and thread.  Have fun experimenting with the type of stitches you use, fill in certain shapes with larger stitches and leave some shapes with a single stitch.
